      A : 너 혹시 주변에 자기 차 판다는 사람 없어(있어)?

      B : 아니, 없는 것 같은데. 왜? 차 필요해?

      A : 응 그냥 매일 출퇴근하면서 가지고 다닐 게 필요해서.

      B : 사실 중고차 딜러인 사람을 하나 알긴 해. 내 친구 Kaley 알지?

      A : 아, 걔 너 생일파티에서 인사했던 그 여자인가?

      B : 응, 걔 맞아. 걔 남자친구가 중고차 딜러야.

2. 아까, 친구한테 전화가 왔는데, 뭐를 하고 있어서 답을 못했어. 오늘 저녁에 연락해보려고해.

3. 오늘 강아지들을 공원에 데리고 나갔었어요. 거기에 한 시간 정도 있었어요 돌아오는 길에, 강아지 사료가 거의 떨어졌다는게 생각나서 가게에 들러서 강아지 사료랑 간직을 좀 샀어요.

4. 어제 오랜만에 친구를 만났어요. 벌거 안 했어요. 그냥 술 한잔 하면서 몇 시간 동안 얘기했어요.

5. 어제 스타벅스에 갔었어요, 밤 꽤 늦게, 9시 쯤에요. 근데 사람이 엄청 많았어요! 저 앉을 자리 하나 겨우 찾았어요. 꽤 놀라웠어요, 일요일 밤 시간에 그렇게 사람이 많을 줄은 정말 몰랐어요.

     A: 오늘 비온대, 오후부터 시작해서 하루 종일

     B: 어쩐지 밖에 어둡더라. 오늘 세차할려고 했는데, 비 오고 나면 해야겠다.

7. 어제 저녁먹으러 나갔어. 내가 자주가는 바베큐 집에 갔는데, 한 주에 1번쯤. 거기 24시간 운영해서 나는 보통 사람들이 많지 않은 늦은 시간에 가는걸 좋아해. 하지만 그날은 평소보다 조금 일찍 갔는데 조금 더 사람이 있을 줄 알았는데, 내 생각보다 더 많이 붐비더라고.

    A: 어쩔때는 뭘 먹을지 정하는게 너무 피곤해. 너도 그래?

    B: 응, 뭔지 알아. 어쩔때는 그냥 대신 정해져 있었으면 좋겠어, 학교 급식소처럼

9. 우리집 바로 근처에 셀프빨래방이새로 생겼어요. 완전 편리해요. 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리고요. 신용카드로 지불할수 있어서 현금을 챙겨가는걸 신경쓰지 않아도 돼요.

10. 오늘 장보러 갔었어요. 너무 오랜만이어서 살게 진짜 많았어요. 거의 30만원어치의 장을 본 것 같아요. 시간도 오래 걸렸어요. 보통은 1시간도 안 걸리는데 거의 2시간 걸렸어요.

1. Conversation

      A : Do you know anyone(someone) who is selling their car?

      B : No, I don’t think so. Why? Do you need a car?

      A : Yes, I just need something that I can drive to work every day.

      B : Actually, I know someone(a guy/a person) who is a used car dealer. You know my friend Kaley, right?

      A : Is she the one(girl) who I said hello to at your birthday party?

      B : Yeah, that’s her. Her boyfriend is a used car dealer.

2. Eariler today, I got a phone call from a friend but I was in the middle of something so I couldn’t answer it. I’m going to try to call him back later tonight.

3. I took my dogs out to the park today. We were there for about an hour. On our way back, I remembered that we were almost out of dog food. So we stopped by the store to pick up some dog food and some snacks.

4. I hung out with a friend yesterday. We hadn’t seen each other in a while. We just went out for some drinks and talked for a couple of hours.

5. I went to Starbucks yesterday, quite late at night, around 9 o’clock and there were so many people! I barely found a seat for myself. It was quite surprising. I really didn’t expect it to be so crowded on a Sunday night.

6. Conversation

     A : The forecast says it’s going to rain today, strating in the afternoon throughout the rest of the day.

     B : Oh, no woder it’s so dark outside. I was going to get my car washed but I guess I should wait until after the rain.

7. I went out for dinner yesterday. I went to a barbecue place that I often go to, about once a week.  They’re open 24 hours so I usually like to go (there) late at night when it isn’t crowded. But this time, I went (there) a little earlier than usual. I was expecting to see some more people but it was much more crowded than I thought.

8. Conversation

     A: Soemtiems, it’s so exhausting trying to decide what to eat. Do you feel like that, too?

     B: Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes, I wish it was just decided for me. You know, like a school cafeteria.

9. A new laundromat opened right by my place. It’s so convenient. It’s within walking distance and you can pay with your credit card so you don’t have to worry about having cash with you.

10. I went grocery shopping today. It was long overdue, so I had so many things to buy. I think I bought almost three-hundred thousand won worth of grocercies. It took long(a lot of time), too Normally, it takes less than an hour but it took almost two hours.
